Easter Sunday brought sunshine, chocolate and a day doing this...
It was a day for bright, colourful dresses
Searching through rock pools
Watching the tide surge in and out, gently moving the seaweed in its mesmerising swell
A day for playing
Building sandcastles
A day for discovering
A day that was pretty perfect.
Hope yours was good too.
Happy Easter x
Happy Easter to you all.
ReplyDeleteOh how lucky you are.....and in your cozzies too, it must have been warm!
The pictures are lovely.
It has been grey all day here.

Good grief.. was that a bikini I saw there!!
ReplyDeleteI think I've turned native as I'm still walking around in aran cardie and covered legs, the thermometer(?) outside was early 20's. Geoff did have shorts on this afternoon though so maybe it's me!
I heard something about many tankers on the sw coast on the radio and I can see loads on your photos, are they there all the time?
Glad you had a good day.
Take care
Gorgeous report of a beautiful Easter in Cornwall. Thank you, Pipany!
ReplyDeleteCan see the sun glimmering on the sea. Its great having such good weather. Mush and Muffin had a picnic on the beach on Friday. While being a country lover, I would always have to live beside the sea. It's so timeless. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful day! Just look at all that sunshine and the cossies too. Sometimes it feels as if you live in a completely different country!
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious day... here it was grey and drizzly!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous day. I can't remember what a sunny day looks like! Thanks for reminding me!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous post Pipany it's lovely to see the coast the other end of the country! Though not warm enough here yet for bikini's.
ReplyDeleteIt's misty here today' but the boys have gone sea fishing to catch our supper! fingers crossed they get something.
Have a lovely day maybe a film and popcorn kind of day if it's pouring?
take care,
Nina x
Looks like a perfect day Pipany, how lovely. Is that a bit of 'Boys Rock' beach?
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous images Pipany - blissful. What a lovely day to remember. We're off to the seaside next weekend - I can't wait. Emma x
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter Pip. It looks like summer rather than spring down there. Roll on August when I'll be down on the Lizard again!

ReplyDeleteHope you're enjoying the school hols!

Oh my, look at your sunshine ! You'd think it was the height of summer. A fabulous way to spend Easter Sunday.
ReplyDeleteBoo loves the seaside and can't wait to get down to her Nanny & Gaggys x
Such beautiful happy pictures, Pipany. I always love pictures taken by the sea. Your children look so happy and content, just the way children should look when playing in the sand.
ReplyDeleteOh lucky, lucky Pip....that looks just so perfect. I have this image in my head of the perfect seaside day (yet never ever seem to achieve it) - this epitomises what i'm hunting for. So glad you had such a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you had such a magical Easter, what gorgeous pictures.

Fantastic pictures Pipany, I can feel the sun on my face and hear the sound of the sea as I type....
ReplyDeleteWow the sunshine on the sea just speaks of warmth.
ReplyDeleteEaster was good, but not so heavenly as yours!
ReplyDeletePlease, please can you hold onto that balmy weather for us Pip! We'll be down your way in two weeks time and I'm dreaming of at least one day like this. Your children are going to have such wonderful memories.
ReplyDeleteNot quite warm enough up here on Easter Sunday for swimmers but its was a blissful day spent with family in my parents gorgeous garden. Oh I just can't wait to come to Cornwall again, counting down the days.
