No new photos to show today as the weather is so dire that I am uninspired to take my camera out and about. Still, the images I have here reflect a little of how I feel today: quiet...
calm
occasionally bubbling with ideas and energy
often craving light and colour
sometimes craving desperately to be alone with the sea and the skies and the billowing breeze
and perhaps most of all I am feeling reflective.
If only there were some light outside my window I might just stop thinking about how I am feeling and do something instead!
How are you feeling today? xx
Feeling much the same Pipany - sometimes these rainy days do bring forth reflection and like you I spend more time wondering about things than actually getting on with something. However maybe that is what is needed sometimes a little quiet down time?!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics of the river Pip. I really think the weather is making us all feel that way! Reflective time is so important though - just imagine what will come next! xx
ReplyDeleteI agree............ the weather is affecting everyone.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is giving us a real emotional roller-coaster ride isn't it, just when you think summer might be breaking through, back comes winter again. I'm sure it's playing havoc with a lot of us. Still, lovely pics to indulge in - I'm working on a shell inspired tapestry at the moment - must be the lure of the seaside.
ReplyDeleteWell I have been doing a bit of hand sewing as my grandson sleeps and the sun has just broken through the clouds. How such a simple thing can lift the spirits. Mind just a peep at your piccies was enough to do just that.
ReplyDeleteHi Pipany,
ReplyDeleteA bit the same really :-)! I believe we are having the same sort of weather in Holland. I am longing for some sunshine too, to spend more time outdoors!
Have a lovely evening,
Madelief x
I am glad you are feeling calm despite all those mouths you have to feed every morning!!! - it isn't just the rain though is it ?- it is this awful coldness
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling exactly the same Pipany, i think it's definately the weather! Beautiful photo's as usual. sending happy calm thoughts your way x

ReplyDeleteHello Pipany This is such a beautiful reflective post, I love how you capture different feelings in your photographs. And no one can take such good pics of seaglass and shells as you do.... they look as delicious as sweets.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your reflective times, and enjoy creating your lovely makes too.
